ARTS BEAT
The Art of Science
Not all art is created in a studio: students and faculty in science and engineering at Princeton University have been hard at work creating stunning images in the lab and in nature. The 56 "Art of Science" works on display at the Princeton University Friend Center represent the theme of "intelligent design" interpreted in the broadest sense. RECESSION RELIEF?
Reports from several commercial real estate brokers show signs that that the recession may finally be ending, as office and industrial space rentals in central New Jersey were up in 2012.

But for some companies, it was as if there had never been a recession. Hamilton-based Billtrust has seen a rapidly growing client base -- and profits -- in the past four years. Taft & Partners/PharmApprove has kept up with the latest advertising trends, and the FDA, to keep its growing business strong. And despite a few dismal years for architects, Joshua Zinder Architecture & Design has made several recent hires and is looking for more architects to join its ranks.
