For Singers

Voices Chorale seeks singers in all voice parts for its upcoming concert season. Music reading skills and singing in Latin and other languages are helpful. Classes

George Street Playhouse offers theater classes for youth, teens, and adults. “Meet Shakespeare” and “Improv for Performance” adult acting classes meets Mondays, September 19 to November 14. Evergreen Forum, a program of daytime study and discussions for adults under the Princeton Senior Resource Center, still has openings in classes focusing on Jane Austen, History of China, Irish Plays, and a poetry course on Tribute, Ode & Elegy. Most classes are held in the Suzanne Patterson Building behind Princeton Borough Hall. The first class starts September 23.

Volunteer Please

Mercer Alliance to End Homelessness seeks volunteer tax preparers during the tax season. Volunteers receive two half-day classes in tax law and TaxWise software use as well as information to self-study before taking the IRS test. Princeton Shopping Center invites shoppers on a treasure hunt in search of a treasure chest filled with more than $2,000 worth of merchandise and gift cards from merchants. Paper Mill Playhouse is searching for the biggest “Newsies” fan in conjunction with the new Disney stage musical opening on September 15. Register on Facebook or www.papermill.org.
