New Trustees at American Repertory Ballet

Melissa Marschner

American Repertory Ballet has appointed Peter G. Gerry and Melissa Marschner to its board of trustees, effective July 1.

Gerry, a Lawrenceville resident, is the co-founder and managing partner of Sycamore Ventures, a venture capital and private equity firm. He also serves on several corporate boards. A graduate of Harvard College and Business School, he was a commissioned officer in the Navy during Vietnam.

Marschner, an attorney based in Monroe, is an adjunct law professor at Seton Hall University. She started her own company, Marschner Professional Services, in 2010, to provide labor and employment litigation and ethics law services. She is an alumna of Rutgers University and Seton Hall Law School.

Both new trustees are deeply involved in the non-profit world. Gerry is a past trustee of Princeton Day School, among other organizations, and Maschner is an active volunteer and has been a trustee of Princeton Dance Theater and Princeton Pro Musica.

“I’m thrilled that Mr. Gerry and Ms. Marschner will be joining ARB’s Board of Trustees,” ARB managing director Christine Chen said in a statement. “Their expertise, enthusiasm, and support for this organization will be an asset at the board level.”
