ALK Moves Global HQ To North Harrison St.

Barry Glick

ALK Technologies Inc., developer of geologistics and navigation software, has relocated its global corporate headquarters to 457 North Harrison Street.

The 40,000-square-foot office has room for all of ALK’s Princeton staff and consolidates multiple offices — including offices at 1000 Herrontown Road — into a single facility.

“ALK is growing to meet the rising demand for its products and services in the market,” said CEO Barry Glick. “The expanded headquarters and office space enables us to increase staff and support our growth in the coming years.”

Glick, who was named CEO of ALK last year, in 1994 was the founding CEO of GeoSystems Global Corporation, the company that developed MapQuest. GeoSystems was acquired by AOL/Time Warner in 2000. Glick later became chairman and CEO of Webraska Mobile Technologies and a vice president at NAVTEQ. He holds a Ph.D. in geography from SUNY-Buffalo and a master’s from Cornell.

The company’s products include CoPilot Live, a GPS navigation software; PC*MILER, logistics software for transportation, logistics, and manufacturing companies; and ALK Maps, its newest product — a development platform for the transportation industry that provides commercial routing, geocoding, and mapping visualization for enterprise applications.

ALK, founded 30 years ago, also has locations in London, Paris, Munich, and Venice, FL.
