Companies On the Move

Merger

McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union has merged with Manhattan-based St. Vincent’s Employees Federal Credit Union for an undisclosed amount. According to McGraw-Hill, the deal stabilizes a year of uncertainty for the former employees of St. Vincent’s Hospital, which closed its doors in 2010 after 161 years.

The merger adds 1,300 members and $8.5 million in assets to McGraw-Hill. Following the completion of the merger, McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union will have approximately 18,500 members and $267 million in assets.

With commercial air service restored at Trenton-Mercer Airport, the state of New Jersey is investing in the airport’s infrastructure. Last week the state announced that is would spend $4.8 million to upgrade runways and install new technology that helps to prevent catastrophic crashes.

Since the spring arrival of Streamline, a passenger charter service that flies between Trenton and Boston (and which is hoping to add a route to Florida), Trenton-Mercer Airport has been abuzz with commercial traffic after three years of having no commercial flights.

The state hopes to reinvigorate and modernize the airport now that air traffic has returned.

ZS Associates, a management consulting firm focusing on sales and marketing in the healthcare industry, has moved from 150 College Road East to a 49,000-square-foot space in the Carnegie Center. The move expands ZS’s space, from 27,000 square feet .

Deaths

Michael J. Herbert, 73, on September 12. An attorney for more than 40 years, he was the attorney for Princeton Borough, West Windsor, Plainsboro, the NJ League of Municipalities, and the NJ State Interscholastic Athletic Association, among others.

David James Osborn, 47, on September 10. He worked in telecommunications with General Electric and Dataram.

Judy Remington, 53, on September 3. She was the first assistant executive director and later a senior communications specialist with the NJ Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies.
